An exciting position has become vacant in the Experienced Hires recruiting team within People for an experienced recruiter with excellent people and implementation skills. The recruiting manager will be responsible for the recruitment of experienced candidates into the companies Advisory function focussed on the Performance and Technology service line. Furthermore, the successful candidate will take joint responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.
- Tasks
- Determining recruitment needs/requirements (with business input)
Delivering on these requirements in support of the businesses growth strategy and targets - Playing an active role supporting the change process within recruitment
- Delivering a quality customer-focussed service to the business
- Developing of innovative ways/models of sourcing candidates for the business
- Monitoring key performance measures to reduce both time to hire and cost per hire
- Business liaison for experienced hires
- Determine resourcing needs
- Job specifications and requirements
- Succession planning
- New employee follow ups
- Recruiting agent liaison, including payment of recruiting agents;
- Oversee the creation of advertisements and profiles for careers website together with the business
- Screening and short listing of applicants for each position
- Interview of candidates together with the Business Units
- Organising psychometric assessment days together with Organisational Development
- Ownership of implementing recruiting processes in a consistent manner across the service line
- Determining recruitment needs/requirements (with business input)
- Competencies
- Experienced interviewer with the knowledge and maturity to manage client relationships and act as an effective ambassador for the company
- Ability to embrace change and support team colleagues working through a complex process of change
- Knowledge of key employment law issues in recruitment and the confidence to assist clients identify and manage risks in the recruitment and selection process
- Good communication skills, both orally and in writing; able to draft reports and interpret complex data

- Able to work independently, and under pressure, whilst producing and delivering a world class experienced hire recruitment service
- Committed to accuracy and attention to detail with strong administrative, organisational and planning skills
- Able to maintain a high standard of work while working on more than one recruitment task
- Strong relationship manager able to deal confidently with individuals at all levels.
- Able to maintain confidence
- Willing to travel as required (this is a national position)
- Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, or higher qualification in recruiting (essential)
- Previous recruiting experience is essential (3 years minimum). (preferably working within a Corporate, recruiting at a manager and senior manager level)
- Knowledge of labour legislative framework
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel
- Previous experience recruiting within a management consultancy or professional financial environment will be beneficial
- Remuneration
- R350,000.00* P/A
