Senior Analyst / Supervisor, IT External Audit Service

The national IT Advisory External Audit services practice assists clients in understanding and effectively managing existing and emerging IT risks. They develop and implement a comprehensive framework to assess, control, monitor and measure IT risk. These services focus on technology infrastructure and include assessing risk, evaluating control effectiveness, identifying weaknesses, and developing solutions. The risk assessment drives the level of internal control testing, which typically spans application, database, operating system and network layers.

Tasks: · Team leadership (should have supervised teams previously)

· Documenting findings

· Writing reports

· Assist in project planning, develop audit plans and programmes

· Reviewing work of junior staff

· On going quality assurance and risk management on engagements

· Project Management

· Develop internal and external client relationships.

· Work in a team to design solutions for clients

· Presentations of findings to clients

· Budgeting, costing and allocation of resources

· Client liaison and problem solving

· Ability to identify potential business development / sales opportunities

· Stand in for manager when required

· WIP management
Competencies: · Interest and preference for Information Technology (IT)

· Excellent documentation and report writing ability

· Experience in Business Process Analysis

· Ability to spot problems, and trace to root cause to recommend solutions.
Qualifications: Completed BComm / BSc is essential, completed Honours is advantageous
CA preferred, or partly qualified (Part I etc)
Minimum of three years relevant working experience
Remuneration: R350,000.00* P/A (Negotiable); *Plus: Benefits
