Food Technical Manager
Company seeks dynamic applicant who will be responsible for Quality Assurance and Quality Control of pet food production (pref dry dog food would be an advantage)
- Tasks
- Responsible for Quality Assurance and Quality Control
- Identification and implementation of SOP’s, procedures, testing and quality standards at all stages of maufacturing from actual setup through to final product
- Applicant must be preventative and corrective to ensure a consistent product of the highest standards
- Requires an understanding of maufacturing processess

- Good Communcations skills
- Qualifications
- BSc Honours / MSc Animal Nutrition / Food Nutrition or ND / BSc Food Technology / Food Science / Food Processing
- Vehicle and valid drivers license.
- Minimum 8 -10 years previous experience within the dog / cat / food industry (example manufacturing, QA, QC)
- Must be able to travel locally on a regular basis
- Must be strong on QA/QC
- R & D experience an advantage
- Must have experience in auditing procedures
- Knowledge of HACCP
- Remuneration
- R500,000.00* P/A (Negotiable)
