To ensure that prices for goods and services to clients are negotiated in the best possible manner for the business
- Tasks
Impart business and subject matter expertise to the organization within sphere of control
Provide guidance to KAM’s/GMs in matters related to the pricing of products and solutions
To provide innovation of commercial models that can be applied to customers (capex, opex, mix) according to different situations
To understand the broad array of Neotel products and services and provide pricing metrics thereof
To benchmark competitor pricing of products / services
To ensure profitability of the division
To develop easy to use pricing calculators for account managers
Compliance with all regulatory requirements for pricing
Interlock with product and finance function
To manage and control the bid management process on behalf of the organization within scope of control
To be responsible for the commercial and pricing aspects of bids, RFPs, proposals
To be responsible for direct negotiations with customers on pricing discussions

Overall performance of the business unit
To be able to bundle products and services and apply discounts that are attractive yet within financial guidelines
To ensure that bids, RFPs, proposals are commercially and financially complete in terms of ensuring that all cost elements are included and priced
To manage commercial and financial risk of bids, RFPs
To ensure general discounting guidelines are observed by the sales teams and compliance thereof

3 or 4 year degree (B degree or B degree + honours) in business administration or appropriate NQF level qualification
